Many of us are in a familiar place in our life. We have an established routine and we can get through our days. But it seems lately that many people are questioning if that is all life has to offer. Some of the struggles in our life stirs us to the very core and moves us to question what it is we have settled for. There seems to be a yearning to open up to something deeper within ourselves. Some of the headlines in the media shows us some of the struggles of our societies. And yet there is a deeper knowing of what feels right, and what we have settled for isn't it.
Some of our efforts to keep a manageable space for ourselves is to protect the vulnerable aspects of ourselves. And this tends to keep us disconnected with the very things we are looking for. Our deepest self wants to connect with others and feel a sense of communion with life. And this posturing we have settled for denies us just that. How do we move through the posturing to re-awaken our deepest truths? how do we, once again, open to the joy and splendor of life? Our hearts yearns for a deeper connection with others. It is in the eyes of another that we see our deepest truths. Yet we glance away so quickly, and just move on. How do we move through this discontent?
Many of us have been hurt deeply. The notion of an open heart isn't really that appealing when it is our hearts that are breaking in our life struggles. The pain of our past still lingers in our mind and we tend to want to avoid those things that might open up the hurt(s) again. How do we move towards an open heart, when it's our heart itself that hurts the most?
By understanding the principles of why we experience pain, we can start to catch ourselves when we are re-acting in painful ways. Most of our deepest wounds are in our subconscious. We tend to make the majority of our decisions everyday from a subconscious level. We become expert in making choices that makes our days safe. But this "safety" is the very mechanism that keeps us stuck. To establish a model of the nature of our self and to start to open up to the choices that will start us out of our life of struggle, then we can start to shift our life experiences towards a greater spiritual experience in our daily life.
Most of our dilemma, from a purely energetic point of view, is subconscious. We tend to make default decisions without even becoming aware that we are doing it. We have become vested in a particular outcome and we constantly choose the same way. This is most evident when we try to stop our thoughts. It soon becomes evident that there is this background chatter within us that is vested and motivated in creating more of the same in our life. Our thoughts are the how we perceive the world and how we create our own life experience. When we are unaware of the vast majority of these thoughts, we tend to default to more of the same.
To stop our thoughts and actually become aware of them affords us the space to actually make the changes that we seek in our life. We soon discover that many of our thoughts are actually counter productive to what we want in our life. Our thoughts are how we create in our life, and when we are able to stop those that no longer serve us AND start the ones that paint the life we want to experience, we start to make the lasting changes we seek to experience in our life.
Another aspect of changing our life experiences is to release the subconscious energy within our personal energy persona. When we are not aware of the subconscious protection mechanisms within ourselves, we tend to avoid situations that might stir it up. We subconsciously make concessions in our daily life to prevent our subconscious energy from becoming stirred up. This makes us avoid entire arenas of choices and options that keep us from what we want. To try to discover how we posture with our every day life can be interesting. It's like sprinkling flour on the kitchen floor to see if you have been sleep walking. Cleaning out our subconscious space frees up our daily amounts of natural energy, stops us from posturing with the world to keep things "safe" (stuck). Restores our natural ability for health. And gets us excited for our life again. more on this...
